Hoch's work immediately reminded me of Wangechi Mutu's work that I have previously researched, because they are both surreal. I think the mixed media and colour work really well and they do seem to stand out from a lot of my other research. I think I would like to look into Hoch more as an artist and what influences her and look at including her in my researchn essay.
